“Why don’t more people know about this?” Have you ever asked yourself that? You know, after you just learned about some new astonishing or crazy fact you never heard of before. A fact, that makes you really scratch your head at what you thought you knew. The kind of realization that occurs when something in your head just clicks. The truth is stranger than fiction, and as we get older we become more resistant to new ideas. Once something is taught to us once, trying to relearn it can be burdensome. It is just easier to stick to what is familiar and assume that what we think we know, is correct. Even if we are presented with evidence that would convince us otherwise, the thought alone of being wrong about something, scares us. It’s a scary thought, because we instinctively realize the bigger implications of this. We realize that if we were wrong about this, what else could we be wrong about? What if, this is just the tip of the iceberg? How much of what we know, is true? We all have those thoughts, once we start to come across Shit You Didn’t Learn In School….
